AdExpress
is about connecting the neighbourhood
P2P and B2B
AdExpress
magazine is a Mega Flyer -
a Super Flyer with very important features that ensure readership.
It is also environmentally responsible - cover is 100% recycled paper
while the body of the magazine is printed on paper made from 100%
plantation fibre.
Its focus is the local area
and its distribution is aimed at saturating the
neighbourhood. We call on locals to contribute articles, ideas and
recipes. It does not pretend to be a news magazine. You will not find
news items but a good serving of upcoming events and obscure items like club meetings,
school fetes, live music in pubs and clubs and garage sales.
And never crowded with real
estate advertisements.
Although it is unashamedly an
advertiser, it will carry plenty of interesting (even offbeat) articles and useful
information. We try to maintain an ad-to-info ratio of 60:40
Why this magazine and who's behind it?
The publisher,
FC Productions,
is a printing company that started life as a
photographic/design/prepress company. Being rather fanatical
about quality of production we decided to take on the printing aspect
of the visual communication chain to ensure the final quality the
customer gets. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our
service and, as a result, have become a highly innovative company. Over
the years we have been printing flyers for small businesses in the area
and have often been asked if we could also distribute them.
Why merely print and distribute?
With a little
more effort (are you kidding?), why not produce a co-operative
flyer/distribution medium that
will reduce costs for all? Why not go a little further and produce
something useful for the community and at the same time also ensure retention of
the material?
After a few years' planning, the
AdExpress is launched - 1st issue March 2008.
